What materials are used in the production of the plastic containers?
A food-grade plastic chosen for strength, clarity and a clean snap. The exact formulation is proprietary.
Are there any child-resistant features incorporated into the containers?
Not yet, but all of our products will be sent out for the CR certificate.
Are the containers stackable or have any space-saving design features?
If left open they will stack. We ship with the tops closed for space and easier stacking so they stay straight.
Can you provide information about the manufacturing process and quality control measures in place?
Once the parts are molded, the press operator looks over each part, makes sure all hinges are fully filled and the part has zero defects. Once approved, they sit on a table with fans to ensure they are 100% cooled down and the plastic is fully hardened before carefully stacking and filling boxes with our parts.
Do the containers feature any special design elements or reinforcements for added strength?
Double snap feature. Dividers for the pre-rolls thicken up the bottom so when in a pocket it does not bend.
Are the containers made from food-grade or medical-grade materials?
Yes, food-grade. We have the certificate proving this if you would like a picture of it.
Are there any efforts taken to minimize the environmental impact during the production process?
We use as much recycled material as possible.
Are the plastic containers made from recycled materials or are they recyclable?
They start as raw virgin material, but we can regrind our parts and make new parts out of the recycled and regrind material.
Are the containers air-tight or odor-proof? How effectively do they seal in the freshness of the cannabis?
Air-tight: no. Odor-proof: not 100%, but they do help with odor.
Are there plans to introduce biodegradable or compostable options in the future?
Yes, we are looking at different hemp and ocean-recycled materials to use.
